Visit Chepstow Castle for a free day of fun as Medieval Mayhem comes to town. Experience the sights and sounds of medieval life through historical re-enactments, sample living history craft workshops and set out on numerous guided walks around the area.

These are all part of the celebrations for the 40th anniversary of the formation of the Wye Valley Area of Natural Beauty. The medieval re-enactments will form the main event of the day but there are also: - a Rock and Fossil Roadshow (Hereford and Worcester Earth Heritage Trust). - displays by partners and local history groups. - Guided walks organised by CADW -Much much more!
